1. Do not undervalue "curb appeal." If the exterior of your house looks dilapidated, the chances of getting fresh tenants are pretty low. Make certain that your property is well painted and attractive. Even if the dwelling is small and self-effacing, it should still give a good first feeling.
2. Fix up the inner side. If the property is unoccupied, make certain that any problems have been fixed. If your home is not vacant, stop by alone first to stay away from any embarrassing situations.
3. Get it clean and I mean really clean! There is not much worse than a filthy residence or apartment. Make sure an untenanted dwelling is sparkling and check on in use properties ahead of time to make sure that they meet your support.
